Six Tips To Radio Controlled Boat Safety by Andrew Murphy

1) A wonderful surprise for any kid is to have a radio controlled boat delivered to their door. Taking the appropriate steps to ensure a fun boating experience is important because some boats are very fast and pose a danger if you don't educate yourself about them.
1) If you purchase an (RTR) ready to run boat then it comes assembled and is raring to go to attack the water but you should always inspect your RC Boat for any cracks or loose-fitting parts. After using it always inspect the prop as trash can get jammed in it.

2) The very last thing you intend to happen is have your vessel stuck in the middle of a lake and crazy you have no way to get it. RC Boats are not flawless and like cars occasionally you experience mechanical difficulties or your battery fails. Make sure you arrange a means to be able to retrieve your vessel. Speed boat, row boat, flippers, whatever you decide be certain you have something. Even your mom or dad in a dry suit.

3) Its a good idea to always keep a tool caddy around to fine tune your boat or perform minor adjustments. Also clean cotton rags are a big help in drying off your boat.

4) Always keep your hands and hair away from the prop. This is very important to instill in your kids. Radio controlled boats are lots of fun when they are used carefully.

5) Run your cruiser in calm area away from swimmers and crowds. The last thing you intend to do is annoy every person near you. Be considerate and respectful.

6) Chat to your children about these tips and include them. While you are the parent and are ultimately accountable for them make them aware and dependable owners of rc boats as well. All together it is an enjoyable hobby and fun for all when you apply these tips.

Safety tips for anyone that is considering buying radio controlled boats. They are a fun hobby but you should exercise these tips.
